She has a B.S. in entomology with Honours and Distinction from Cornell and a Ph.D. in entomology from NCSU.

Marcus is CEO of BioConsortia, a leading AgriTech company developing microbial consortia.
Marcus has previously been Head of Biologics at Bayer CropScience, following Bayer’s acquisition of AgraQuest, where he was also CEO.

Dr Minshad Ansari has 20+ years of experience in the development of biopesticide for control of pest and disease in horticulture, sport turf and forestry sectors.
He founded Bionema Ltd in 2012 from Swansea University and is passionate about developing and commercialising natural bioproducts to protect crops from pests and diseases, reducing the use of synthetic pesticides, enhancing food security and increasing crop yields.
More recently, Minshad founded the World BioProtection Forum (WBF), a non-profit organisation for encouraging collaboration between the biocontrol industry and academia for novel innovation – the annual meeting of the WBF is the Global Biopesticide Summit & Awards.

Jorge Pinto Antunes is a Member of Cabinet of Commissioner Wojciechowski (Agriculture) in the European Commission.
He has broad and extensive experience in the European Commission, spanning the Environment Directorate-General - where he was responsible for accession negotiations and relations with International Financing Institutions - the Health Directorate General, where he led a team responsible for strategy and the Climate Action Directorate General.

We are delighted to welcome Carol Pullen, the General Manager of OroAgri and a keynote speaker at the Summit.

We are pleased to welcome KRK Reddy to discuss innovation in soil microbiome engineering for crop pest management.

As director of Ecospray Ltd for the past twenty years Dr Murree Groom has focused on evaluating and confirming the bioactivity (efficacy) of garlic extracts in a wide range of crops and environments and elucidating the mode of action. Much of this work has been in association with UEA, AFBI, SASA and The James Hutton Institute. He has been involved with four UEA based PhD studentships since 2010.
The process of getting the first botanical biopesticide based on garlic chemistry registered for crop protection within the EU regulatory frameworks was challenging and took eight years to complete developing dossiers through two regulatory frameworks. Registrations for Ecospray bio-nematicides are now in place in the central and southern zones of the EU and East Africa, with additional registrations expected to come from West Africa, Australia and New Zealand in 2020. A re-registration in annexe 1 is also expected soon.
Throughout the product development programmes, Murree has always attempted to establish evidence of equivalent efficacy to synthetic reference materials. In many situations the core active or granulate products formulated with the core active delivered equivalent efficacy to actives such as aldicarb, fenamiphos and fosthiazate. Gaining acceptance of the evidence of efficacy from the Ecospray bio-nematicides in the marketplace as been a significant personal undertaking in recent years.
He is now establishing techniques for measuring the effect of Ecospray bio-pesticides on soil health and carbon capture.

We are pleased to welcome Daniel Zommick, as the Global Technical Development Specialist of Valent Biosciences, from the USA.
